Would you like to get involved with the 24:7 Theatre Festival
?

Call for volunteers!

We are currently looking to fill the following roles:

Volunteer Box Office Assistants
Volunteer Front of House staff
Volunteer Technical Assistants
Volunteer Deputy Venue Coordinators
Ticketing Coordinator

There will be different shifts, so you don’t have to commit to working the whole Festival. You also don’t need to have any experience as full training will be provided.
In return, we will provide you with tickets based on shifts worked, which will allow you or a guest to see performances for free (on a standby basis).
Other events in Festival Week will be open to volunteers, and we will let you know about these via email or during one or your shifts.
If you're interested, contact our Volunteer Coordinator: gayle@247theatrefestival.co.uk

Or, if you'd like to get involved in the stage management of one of our participating shows – no experience required – let Gayle know and she'll point you in the right direction! Email: gayle@247theatrefestival.co.uk

Call for comedy sketches!

Following the success of last year’s 24:7 live sketch show, we are once again shouting out for your comedy gems.

You send in your script, we choose the best of the bunch and our talented troupe, The 24:7 Comedy Players, perform them during the Festival as a late-night, comedy, cabaret treat on Friday 22 July.
Sketches should be no more than five minutes long and be suitable for a small cast with imaginatively little in the way of props!
Comedy monologues are welcome if they contain a bit of narrative and are character-based – not stand-up!
A panel of judges will pick a winning sketch on the night based on size and number of laughs. A fabulous prize will be awarded to the writer. (Last year's winner had a mentoring session with a producer from a national production company.)
Send your script or scripts to sketch@247theatrefestival.co.uk. The closing date for entries is midnight on Friday 8 July.
