‘A bANda da’
‘A bANda da’ will perform a revised rendition of their TATE debut with a selection of covers as ‘narrational quotes’ ranging from Scott Walker, Leonard Cohen, Bowie to Kate Bush, all threaded together by a revised monologue (originally written by Gavin MacDonald) by artist Charlotte Young. All overseen by a video backdrop by Jane & Mike Chavez-Dawson titled ‘Love, Loss and Wilderness’ – that see’s the artist Jane as Freda Kahlo - being absorbed into painterly landscapes whilst overseeing the performance.
